WORLD TOP 10 OF BAD STUDENT

An inspiring career story for educational institutions, study or recruitment fairs, employment and career change events.

Employment as a welder is almost certain, but the field is not of interest to students. How can the lagging supply be turned around to meet the high demand?
The key word is enthusiasm.

Ville's story of a lazy student rising to the top of the world gives a good picture of the young vocational school student's thoughts on the world championships and his journey to becoming an entrepreneur through the lessons he learned during his journey.

The birth of EveryWeld

The EveryWeld story began with inspiring teaching. Now Ville-Pekka Arasmo himself encourages students and those considering a change of field towards a new, interesting career.

"A good welder always gets a job," said Ville-Pekka, a man who came to introduce the field to Arasmo during his junior high school days. A small spark began to grow, and Arasmo began studying to be a sheet metal welder at Savo Vocational College.

Right from the start, the high-quality teaching awakened Arasmo's dormant thirst for learning, and he soon became enthusiastic about professional skills competitions. The constant desire for development and countless hours spent practicing led the young welder to become, among other things, the Taitaja2011 Finnish champion, the Nordic champion in 2012, and the top 10 in the WorldSkills 2013 world championships.

Encouraged by his success in the competition and the encouragement of the professionals around him, Arasmo dared to start dreaming of selling his own professional skills himself. The idea remained strong in his mind, and in 2016 EveryWeld Oy saw the light of day. The company's sparkling vision is to develop the Finnish welding industry by selling its own professional skills without prejudice through education , welding work and stories :
"The laws in the welding industry are the same everywhere. If you are interested in an international career, welding is an excellent choice!"

Ville-Pekka Arasmo has a constant passion for developing the welding industry and raising its profile. He has spoken to students and career changers about the welding industry, the Taitaja program, and its benefits for developing professional skills and finding employment.

Arasmo's career story is a concrete and easily approachable example of the enthusiasm for studying ignited by the welding industry, the competitive success achieved through diligent training, and the commercialization of one's own professional skills as an entrepreneur.
